Our Mission

Hi, I am the CEO and owner of Building Blocks Bookkeeping, Chelsea Kanke. 

I have grown this business from nothing to a thriving firm, currently a 3 person team. I am determined and love helping people with their business needs.

I am also a mother of 3, ages 10, 8, and 5. I love being home with them when they need me, while also providing a comfortable life for them.

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Ethan, for over 11 years now, but we’ve been together for over 18 (high school sweethearts). I can’t imagine a life without him.

My passion is my family and my business.

I was always good with numbers, math, and organization. I wanted the freedom to continue to be home with my children but also work. I had dabbled in bookkeeping in some big department stores as back office staff, so bookkeeping was a perfect fit for me as I can assist others to achieve a successful business and still spend quality time with my family.
